Bedford County Fire investigators held a news conference this morning to say they may never know what sparked a massive fire at a strip mall over the weekend.

The flames ravaged the Jefferson Business Senter off of Route 221 in Forest Saturday night.

Investigators say video from bystanders helped with the investigation, but they still could not 100 percent identify what started the fire.

They think it could have been a match or cigarette but can’t say for sure.

Investigators have ruled out arson for the time being.
