Break-ins and larcenies under investigation in Halifax Co.

The Halifax Sheriff’s Dept. is currently investigating a break-in at a rental home on Joel’s Lane in Nathalie.
Investigators say the basement door was kicked in, and a washing machine, dryer, and refrigerator were taken, sometime since the first of October.

Also under investigation, the theft of a catalytic converter which investigators say was cut from beneath a 1992 Dodge church van, belonging to the Rock of Salvation Refuge Temple Apostolic Church, sometime within the past 2 months.

Also under investigation, a home break-in on Wooding Road. The homeowner reported that someone broke into his car and stole a Sony CD player, and a 9 MM semi-auto pistol, sometime during the night of 11/25/09.

Also under investigation, a home break-in on Lennig Road in Nathalie. The homeowner reported that sometime between 11/17 and 11/26/09, someone entered her home through a bedroom window and stole a ring and 2 bracelets.

Also under investigation, a home break-in on Hill Farm Road in South Boston.The homeowner reported that sometime between 4:15 PM and 9:15 PM on 11/27/09, someone kicked open her front door and stole an X-Box 360 Arcade game console, and 3 video games.

Also under investigation a home breakl-in on Memorial Drive in South Boston. The homeowner reported that someone broke into her home through a side door on 11/27/09 between 6 PM and 11 PM, and stole a jewelry box and jewelry from her bedroom.
