Crews were on clean-up duty after a freight train spilled diesel fuel.
It happened at the Clifton Forge railyard this morning, near the CSX office on East Ridgeway Street.
The Clifton Forge Fire Department says about 100 gallons of fuel spilled.
They say one of the valves in the engine busted, causing the leak.
It was then up to the train company’s Hazmat team to clean up the spill.
