Extended shopping hours for those affected by snow

    If the weekend snow kept you inside, and away from the stores, Toys R Us is helping you get your last minute shopping done.
    The toy store is extending its hours.
    More than 300 Toys R Us locations on the East Coast will now stay open from 6 in the morning until 1 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.
    We did some checking and the Roanoke store will be open those extended hours.
    It will also be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

    And Toys R Us isn’t alone.
    Sears and Best Buy are extending their hours as well.
    Tuesday and Wednesday the Sears at Valley View mall, and the Roanoke Best Buy will be open until midnight.
    Sears will stay open until 7 p.m. Christmas Eve.
    The best buy will open tomorrow at 7 a-m.

    Finally, local shop owners tell us, all market merchants will stay open Tuesday and Wednesday until 7 p.m. to help customers get their shopping done.
