Thursday evening family members walked inside the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center in Galax to spend time with their loved one.
   
It seemed like business as usual as residents sat on the porch and workers walked in and out of the building.
   
However, the Galax Police Department says something unusual and illegal has happened inside.
   
Investigators say some residents were videotaped or photographed, unknowingly, while nude or undressing by a two staff members.
 
To find out more we showed up on their door step to talk to the administrator, but he declined our request for an interview.

He said off camera the nursing home is cooperating with investigators and hopes the actions of a few don’t dismiss the hard work of the entire staff at Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.
   
Helena Sexton checked her husband in Thursday, the same day Sharon Walker was arrested and charged with the crime.

“I am concerned and I would like for us to find out what is going on,” said Sexton.
   
Even though she was aware of the investigation and has many questions, but she remains hopeful her husband will receive good care.

“My mother-in-law was here before and they were really good to her,” Sexton explained.
   
She speaks of a good reputation some say is bruised, because of the arrest and investigation.
