Goodview man dead in crash

A Bedford County man is dead after State Police say he flipped his truck.

State Police say Ronald Cook, age 41 from Goodview, ran his Chevy Avalanche off the left side of Route 24 around 11:45 Wednesday night.  They tell us the truck overturned.  Cook was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the truck, according to State Police.

The accident happened about a half mile east of Route 635.  The crash is under investigation.
