IHOP coming to Salem

A new restaurant is moving into a vacant restaurant building in Salem.

IHOP, also known as International House of Pancakes, is moving into the old Fuddruckers building on Electric Road.

Poe & Cronk Real Estate Group tells us the building permits have been approved for the renovation.

IHOP is scheduled to open in the first quarter of the new year.

The 8,000 square foot building has been vacant for the last two years.

It sold for more than $900,000.
