Learning more about Alfred Dowe’s finances

We’re learning more about former Roanoke City council member Alfred Dowe’s finances.
Dowe filed for bankruptcy earlier this month and according to filings in bankruptcy court owes creditors more than $370,000.
Of that money, Dowe owes jjust under $3,500 in backed child support.
The filings also show Dowe currently has $300 in his checking account.
All the creditors are scheduled to meet on January 29th to discuss how they’ll get paid.
