Man arrested in Roanoke stabbing case

Roanoke City Police say they’ve made an arrest in a stabbing that happened late Tuesday night.

Officers say Dwayne Walker was stabbed during an “altercation” with Ronlad Alphonzo Brown, in the 400 block of 4th Street, around 11:09 p.m. Tuesday.

Police arrested Brown shortly after the incident.

Officers charged Brown with malicious wounding.

Rescue crews took Walker to Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
