Man stabbed in Roanoke

Roanoke City Police are searching for whomever stabbed a man Thursday night.

Officers say Earl Banks was found stabbed outside a home in the 500 block of Patton Avenue around 9:10 p.m.

Rescue crews took Banks to Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Investigators believe Banks and the stabber know each other.
