I cant believe the BS that is being posted here…Really?I mean REALLY? Some people don’t have anything better to do? Curtis has been passed away for a week. How long are you inconsiderate people gonna bash him on here? Like any of you have never been in court or drove intoxicated or made bad decisions, take time to make a personal invetory of your life. Are you a Saint? I bet not…...Let Curtis Rest dont bash him after he’s gone, this is getting ridiculous…............
Mike, you’re a dolt. First you try to insult me for pointing out facts, and then you turn right around in the next paragraph and use inflammatory words against the guy. Make up your little mind.
So, if by “trash talking”, you mean “truth talking”, you would be correct. By the way, take a grammar class. “Your” is possessive, “you’re” is a contraction of “you” and “are”.
It is always sad to see someone leave this world before “their time”. But, friends and family can take joy in the good memories that these people leave behind. I think that the days after a persons death should be spent remembering the good things, and sharing those memories with others who are hurting too…it really does help.
You will always have people who like to dig up bad things and use them to try to judge a person..and that is why they are jerks..having said that…being a jerk and making threats back to them makes you no better than that person. Threats like the ones being left here could be considered criminal in nature and are not allowed by this site.
Asking someone for their “government” so that you can “go lurking” is just flat out lame, and as I said..could be considered criminal. Spend your time remembering your friend, and spend you time being there for his family. They need you more than you need to be threatening someone over words. Do your duty to them, forget the jerks of the world
matt your a trash talking child!
we are lucky this drunk crazed fool only killed himself!
rest in peace and so can salem knowing this guy isnt on the road anymore
Matt, you’re right. He and his brother have both been into alot of trouble, per the VA criminal website. Maybe the brother will learn from Curtis’ mistakes. So many kids and young people make mistakes that are fatal or life altering. Such a waste. Sometimes tough love works. Sometimes it doesn’t. Not sure what this family is like but I hope C’s siblings and other young adults learn from this.
well, you’d think this guy would have learned responsible operation of a bike by this time. He’s been in court in Salem and Roanoke Co. enough with multiple no registration, defective equipment, expired inspection and speeding. the old saying goes “people who don’t listen have to feel”
To Tone,
I knew Curtis as well, altho I’m much older than him, he was a nice young man that showed adults so much respect.
Your right he made some bad choices but that’s not up to us to judge, only God can judge.
Please let his legacy go on by you using him to show others to make the right choices. One thing I know Curtis would want is for others to learn from his mistake.
GOD BLESS the Hackett family.
To Tone—- : ) Very well put.
Crzybiker—Although you have a right to say what you want.. I’m getting real tired of hearing it. Just because you CAN say it, doesn’t always mean you SHOULD. You obviously need a lesson in couth. Get off your idiot box, learn some discretion, grow up ( mature - I don’t care how OLD you are ) and learn how to use words to convey your message without the crass remarks, unthoughtfulness and flat-out crudeness your earlier statements. Not to mention that all of your spelling errors make you sound like a complete moron. If all that doesn’t make sense to you, please tell me what bike you own and I will make sure to look for it every time I drive down a road. ; )
My prayers are with curtis’s family and friends. I went to highschool with him and he was a nice guy! and Crazy Biker…the reason he’s on the news is because he was a very well know person in the Glenvar community and most people here know the name the first time its mentioned…you are an idiot for posting such disrespectful things on here about a person you probably don’t even know! No one knows exactly what happen that night but the fact of the matter is that we lost someone who influenced many people in a very positive way in our area…no matter what happen it was a tragic ending to his life and you have no right to be on here disrespecting him, his family and friends. I’m glad you’ve been fortunate enough to have not had an accident however have you ever heard of KARMA! If you think riders are being unsafe, why don’t you get out from behind your computer screen and go teach a motorcycle safety class or something! RIP CURTIS HACKETT <3
