Updated: 6:15 p.m.
Albright is in the Roanoke City Jail without bond.
Police gave us name of the second suspect earlier today.
It’s Gene Gregory, a friend of Albright’s.
Albright’s step brother told us Albright was staying at his home for the past few days.
He said Albright got arrested on his birthday.
The search warrant claims Albright admitted to taking part in the Kmart heist and even implicated Gregory in the process.
It also reads police found some of the stolen Kmart loot in Albright’s car.
No court date for either man has been set.

Roanoke police have made a significant arrest involving what court records claim was a $19,000 theft from K-Mart.
A search warrant on file in Roanoke City Circuit court claims Roanoke police arrested Johnathan Albright for stealing $19,000 in gold earrings on December 10th.
The search warrant shows Roanoke police officer Andy Crotts made the crucial stop of a car Albright was in sometime Thursday.
Crotts was awarded the 2007 Medal of Honor for saving a family during an armed robbery.
The warrant claims Albright also had a hand in thefts at Circuit City on December 30th and January 8th.
I’m working on a much more detailed story for tonight’s newscasts beginning at 5 PM.
