Salem Police name a suspect in the robbery of a bank that happened on Monday.

In a news release, the Police Department says warrants for bank robbery, and threats to bomb have been obtained for 29-year-old Jason Bradley Davis.

Investigators believe Davis robbed the BB&T branch in the 200 block of South College Avenue this past Monday.  Officers tell us the “threat to bomb” charge comes from the note passed by the robber to a bank teller.

Police believe Davis used to live in Radford, but is currently a transient.

Investigators are checking to see if the Monday robbery is connected to the Stellar One bank robbery from last Thursday, July 2nd.

If you have any information about Davis, call Salem Police at (540) 375-3083.
