Speed limit to increase on parts of Rt. 460

VDOT will increase the speed limit along 4.2 miles of Rt. 460 in Botetourt Co. from 55 mph to 60 mph.

VDOT says signs indicating the change should be in place by Friday, Sept. 5th.

The specific sections are .1 miles east of Rt. 1400 (Blue Ridge Bonsack Industrial Park Rd.) to .2 miles west of Rt. 659 (Laymantown Rd.)

The second section is .2 mile east of Rt. 659 to .5 mile east of Rt. 616 (Blue Ridge Springs Rd.)
