The Taubman Museum of Art celebrates its first birthday this weekend.
Families gathered inside on Saturday to take advantage of the free admission and the fun activities for the kids.
From balloon animals to magicians and face painting, children were exposed to a variety of art.
People also got the chance to tour a gallery full of Rembrandt’s etchings.
Despite the tough economy, a spokeswoman says they’ve had a good first year.
One woman says she plans to come back.
“My husband has never come out here, so I wanted to come and let him see the museum because it’s so nice. I think it’s wonderful for families. It’s a lot of fun,“ said Kristi Brown.
