The FDA approves a new flu vaccine, but it’s not going to help in the H1N1 fight.
Agri-flu made by Novartis vaccines, induces the amount of anti-bodies in a persons blood to help against seasonal flu.
Even though the FDA approved the drug, Novartis says it still needs to conduct more studies.
It’s administered through a single shot in the arm, and is for people 18 years or older.
According to the FDA, no vaccine is 100 percent effective in preventing disease, but vaccination can help prevent the flu.
