Obama’s Virginia Campaign to Host Series of Town Hall Meetings
Published: August 2, 2008
Next week, U.S. Sen. Barack Obama’s Virginia campaign will host a series of town halls to lay out Obama’s plans for jump starting the economy and creating good-paying jobs.
The town halls will also give Virginians a chance to directly engage the campaign and discuss their concerns and what they want to see America’s next president do to improve opportunity for families in the commonwealth.
Obama’s economic advisors, members of Congress and local elected leaders will serve as panelists at the town hall stops.
Oscar Ramirez, Obama’s Virginia policy director, will moderate the town halls.
