Blacksburg Police say 16-year-old Gabrielle Stephenson was behind the wheel of a car when she lost control and crashed into a townhome Monday afternoon.
Police say Stephenson lost control of her car as she was making a right turn from Marlington Street onto Grissom Lane and crashed into the home.
They say the car crashed through a wall and into the living room.
Three people were inside at the time of the accident, but are okay.
They say Stephenson and a passenger were taken to Montgomery Regional Hospital where they were treated and released.
Police charged Stephenson with failure to maintain control of her vehicle.
She’s scheduled to be in court on September 11th.
Damage to the home is estimated at $32,000.

the real tragedy here, and what she should receive additional legal penalties for; is that if she was gonna crash into a building she should have taken out one of the those awfully painted stupid turkey statues around town…have you ever looked closely at one of them?  they look like a retarded girl scout troop from riner painted them…certainly not “professional” artists…i say lock this girl up for awhile, next time she’ll take more caution before she plows a deadly weapon into someone’s home…thank god frank beamer is safe.
