Teenager with cancer gets his wish to play with the Marching Virginians

While the only band most teenagers want to play in these days ia a rock band.  One Virginia teen got the chance to play before thousands last weekend with the Marching Virginians.

It was his “Make-A-Wish” request to play with the Hokies.

15-year-old Zach Bird has been battling for the past three years.  And while he’s focused on beating his cancer, last Saturday he was focused on the two things that bring a smile to his face.  Hokie football and the band.
