Bedford Co. deputies make donation to Childs-Metzler reward fund
Local deputies make a donation to help bring the person or people responsible for the murders of Heidi Childs and David Metzler to justice.
Lt. Kyle Williams, president of the Bedford County Deputy Sheriff’s Association, presented Heidi’s father Don Childs with a check for $500 for the reward fund.
Don is a Virginia State Police sergeant.
Deputies in the non profit group are dedicated to encouraging charitable activities.
Meanwhile, deputies in Montgomery County are still asking for information in this case.
