Blacksburg Police say they’ve arrested two 19-year-olds in connection with the attempted robbery of a 20-year-old.

Investigators tell WSLS that around 1:02 a.m. Wednesday, the 20-year-old was approached by the two 19-year-olds in the 400 block of Hunt Club Road. Officers say one of the 19-year-old grabbed the 20-year-old’s backpack, and the other 19-year-old told the 20-year-old that this was a robbery.

Police say both of the teens demanded money, then began searching through the 20-year-old’s backpack. The victim told police he was able to get away from the teens during their search.

Officers stopped arrested Langston Emaumal Lewis of Pulaski, and Justin Santea Little of Radford in the area, then arrested the duo and charged them with attempted robbery.
