Christiansburg leaders working to make “Vision 2020” a reality

Christiansburg town council members have a vision for how they will improve the town over the next few years and they have just over a decade to achieve their goals.

It’s called “Vision 2020.“
 
The plan is based around nine different principles from going green, to increasing entertainment opportunities to bringing together the community.

“We want christiansburg to be the type of town anybody would be proud to call their hometown,“ said Christiansburg Mayor Richard Ballengee.

The vision also includes turning Christiansburg into a retail, commerce and tourist destination with national retailers, restaurants and hotels.
