Deputies arrest four people for beating up Wythe Co. man
Four local people are arrested after police say they left a Wythe County man with several cuts, bruises and swelling to his face.
It happened Tuesday night on Carroll Drive.
Police say 41-year-old Rhonda Delp, 50-year-old Benjamin Honey, 22-year-old Danny Hutton and a male juvenile whose name is not being released, beat up Eddie Blankenship.
According to police, they claimed Blankenship owed them money for a damaged car.
After they attacked him, police say they took Blankenship to several local banks to withdraw money from his ATM card.
The suspects have been charged with felony breaking and entering, malicious wounding and kidnapping.
