Giles Co. man indicted for possession of explosive materials
A grand jury indicts a Giles County man who police say was keeping several toxic chemicals inside his home.
Last year police went to a Pembroke home and removed more than 100 chemicals, 76 of which were toxic.
They say Thomas Hamblin was keeping them in the basement where he was trying to make rocket fuel.
Hamblin was taken to the hospital and was in a coma, but has since been released.
He faces two felony charges for possession of explosive materials and one felony charge for possession of hoax explosive materials.
