Hillsville fire destroys garage, no one hurt

An aerosol can explodes, sparking a fire at a Hillsville home that completely destroyed a garage.

It happened around 2:00 Saturday afternoon at a home off of Route 58.

The owner of the home, Tray Manning, was burning household trash away from the garage when the can exploded, causing the fire to spread quickly.

Hillsville firefighters say the structure was already destroyed by the time they arrived.

The garage housed several pieces of equipment including a trailor.

Fortunately no one was hurt.
