Montgomery Co. man arrested for firing shots inside home

A local man who set off a countywide response is arrested for recklessly handling a firearm.

It happened last night on Poplar Hollow Road in Montgomery County.
   
Police say 74 year-old Frank Craig Jr. was discharging a gun inside of his house.
   
After the tactical team sent in chemical agents and negotiated with Craig…he surrendered.
   
It appears Craig was firing the shots because he was mad at his girlfriend.

Other than the suspect damaging his home…no one was hurt.
   
Craig is charged with malicious shooting, brandishing a firearm and recklessly handling a firearm.
   
He’s being held at the Montgomery County Jail without bond.
