RU student to attend Democratic National Convention

A local student is packing her bags and heading to Denver.

22-year-old Radford University Senior Elizabeth Chitwood was chosen to attend this year’s democratic national convention as a delegate.
   
She’s one of four chosen to represent Virginia’s ninth district.
 
Elizabeth says she’s so excited, she can hardly concentrate at work. “I know I need to get some work done since I’ll be out all next week, but I don’t think an hour goes by when I don’t mention Denver.“

We asked Elizabeth to make a prediction about Obama’s VP candidate, but she declined saying Obama will pick who he thinks is best.
