Hammer is charged with capital murder in the deaths of Ron Hudler, his son Fred, and Hudler Tree Farms employee Jon Miller back in late January.

The special grand jury upgraded Hammer’s capital murder charge in the Ron Hudler death to capital murder in the commission of a robbery, and also capital murder in the commission of an abduction.

Hammer was also indicted on charges of robbery, grand larceny, burglary, two counts of the malicious wounding of Fred Hudler, two counts of the malicious wounding of Jon Miller, unlawful use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm as a convicted felon.

Hammer is scheduled in Grayson County circuit court this Friday for his formal arraignment.
