Suspect in Wythe Co. armed robbery turns himself in to police

A man wanted in connection to an armed robbery in Wythe County turned himself in to police.

Investigators say 48 year-old Lindsey Bowman robbed the Kangaroo convenience store in Austinville back on July 14.
   
Yesterday, he turned himself in to police in Mount Airy, North Carolina where he lives.

Surveillance video made it pretty easy for investigators to identify Bowman.
   
In the video you can see him grabbing for the money in the register.

He also told the clerk he had a gun.
   
Bowman is facing armed robbery and grand larceny charges.
