Sheriff Jim Davis tells us that three people have been arrested in connection with the crimes.
Deputies charged:
—18-year-old Ernest Draper with two counts of armed robbery, and using a firearm in the commission of a felony
—48-year-old Anthony Mannon with two counts of conspiring to commit armed robbery
—26-year-old Angela Smith with two counts of conspiring to commit armed robbery
All three suspect are being held at the New River Valley Regional Jail. Sheriff Davis says additional charges are expected.
Investigators believe the trio were the criminals behind the robberies of the King Buffet and Troy’s restaurant in Fairlwan last Friday night.
