West Virginia Earthquake near Giles County

A small earthquake in Wst Virginia may have rattled a few nerves in Giles County Saturday morning.

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) says the earthquake’s epicenter was about four miles from Pearisburg and Rich Creek.

It measured a magnitude of 2.8 on the Richter scale, and hit around 7:24 a.m.
