ROANOKE, Va. (AP) - Virginia Tech’s student newspaper is posting on its Web site e-mails and documents related to the mass shootings at Virginia Tech that were given to victims’ families this week.

The newspaper’s editor, David Grant, wouldn’t say Friday how the staff gained access to the electronic archive. It was made available to families Wednesday with protected passwords.

The newspaper has posted a number of e-mails by English faculty members, both about and to Seung-Hui Cho. Cho was the student gunman who killed 32 people in a dormitory and classroom building on April 16, 2007, then took his own life.

In the e-mails, the faculty members express concern about Cho, an English major whose writings and class behavior were disturbing.
