Virginia Tech marching band raising money for project
The Virginia Tech marching band is partnering with Habitat for Humanity and they want your help.
The Marching Virginians set a goal to raise $40,000 to build a Habitat for Humanity house in Radford.
They’re about halfway to their goal, and the organization wants to reach it by the end of January.
The project is in honor of Ryan “Stack” Clark, a band member who died after the shootings at Virginia Tech. He spent a great deal of time volunteering in the community, especially with Habitat for Humanity.
If you’d like to help the Marching Virginians with their community project, make your check payable to Habitat for Humanity. On the memo line, write “The Marching Virginians.“
