Danville police investigate attempted armed robbery

    Police are looking for information in an early morning attempted armed robbery.
    It happened around 3:15 a.m. at the Fas-Mart on South Main Street in Danville.
    Police say a man walked in with an assault rifle and demanded money from the clerk.
    The register was locked, so he ran out before getting any cash.
    Luckily no one was hurt.
