A circuit court judge, prosecutors and defense attorneys qualified five more jurors Tuesday morning, pushing the total to 18 potential jurors in the capital murder case of Dennis Lee Daniel.
Daniel is on trial in Pittsylvania County for capital murder, robbery, abduction and car jacking in the December killing of Courtney Servais.
The five jurors qualified before the first recess, which was taken about 10:15 a.m. The court will have to qualify 26, which will be narrowed down to 12 jurors and 2 alternates.
