Congressman Perriello statement on Farmville homicides

Washington, DC—Congressman Tom Perriello released the following statement in response to the murder of Mark Niederbrock and three other victims recently discovered in Farmville:

“As details of this tragedy emerge, my prayers go out to all the family and friends of the victims, especially the congregants at Walker’s Presbyterian Church and the staff and students of Longwood University. While nothing can ease the immediate shock and grief, the spirit of unity and compassion evidenced by those in Farmville bears testament to the character of this community.“
