AAA says gas prices heading down

Even in these tough economic times, it’s good to know one thing won’t be hurting your wallet.
According to AAA despite slight increases late last week in gas, prices are heading down.
In fact, the average price for a gallon of gas is lower than two weeks ago!
The national average for a gallon of gas is at $2.48.
If you’re traveling around the state look for average prices to be around $2.31.
And in the Roanoke area, you should be expecting the average price for a gallon to be at $2.26.
The International Energy Agency says world oil demand will recover at a faster pace than previously expected as the economy begins to show signs of recovery.

Thanks AAA for telling us what we already know.  How about saying something like ...if we start drilling and building some refineries, then we can keep the price down.  I guess that would not be PC and therefore cause controversy and lead to fewer memberships.
