Congressman Bob Goodlatte to hold town hall meetings

Congressman Goodlatte ha scheduled the third town hall for Saturday, September 12th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Regional Catholic School in Lynchburg.  It’s located on 2125 Langhorne Road.

Congressman Bob Goodlatte plans to hold at least three town hall meetings in the 6th District, to discuss health care reform, and other topics.

Goodlatte scheduled the town hall for Thursday, September 3rd, at Hidden Valley High School in Roanoke County. It will run from 7:00-9:00 p.m.

The second town hall will be in Rockingham County on Saturday, September 5th. It will be at Turner Ashby High School from 10:00 a.m. until Noon.

The third town hall will be in the Lynchburg area, but Goodlatte does not have a date or location yet.

“I feel it is important to keep an open line of communication so I can best serve the interests of the 6th Congressional District,” said Congressman Goodlatte in a news release. “I look forward to hearing from the folks of the 6th District either through my telephone town hall meetings or in person at my upcoming town hall meetings which will be held throughout the 6th District,” Goodlatte added.
