Gov. Timothy M. Kaine and several members of his cabinet got their flu shots today during a clinic at Linkhorne Middle School in Lynchburg.
While many of the students were getting the H1N1 Flu Mist vaccince, Kaine got the conventional shot for seasonal flu.
Kaine said he’d wait until enough H1N1 vaccine is available for people in his age group of healthy adults before he gets that inoculation. Until then, the H1N1 vaccine supply is targeted primarily to people ages 6 months to 24 years, as well as health-care workers and pregnant women.
