Ashley joined the WSLS team in February 2007.

She was born in Tallahassee, Florida where she attended Tallahassee Community College and Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University.

During college, Ashley interned at WCTV Eyewitness News in Tallahassee in the summer of 2003. Shortly after, she was hired as an associate producer, which eventually turned into a weekend reporting position.

Ashley also did some producing, reporting and anchoring for FAMU's radio station, 90.5 the Flava, which is the #1 HBCU radio station in the nation.

In December 2004, Ashley graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida A & M University with a broadcast journalism degree and a minor in business management.

Ashley started her broadcast career at WMBB-TV in Panama City, FL as a general assignment reporter.

After two years of living in the sun and on the beautiful beaches of the panhandle, Ashley was ready for a change.

She's happy to call Virginia home.

In Ashley's spare time she enjoys watching movies and daytime soap operas, spending time with family and friends and reading email.
