Jarett joined the WSLS as a photojournalist in August 2004. In May of 2009, he took on duties as a reporter for WSLS Channel 10. Jarett is excited about the challenges of stepping in front of the camera to report the news.

Jarett graduated from Virginia Tech in 2004 with majors in Mass Communications and Interdisciplinary Studies and minors in Psychology and Business Leadership. After graduation, he worked as photojournalist for WRIC in Richmond before moving to Roanoke.

In his spare time, Jarett likes going to the Y, running, playing basketball, softball, and spending time at Smith Mountain Lake. Jarett also loves playing video games, especially his favorite, Rockband.
