10 On Your Side obtained a letter dated July 14, 2008 where the Health Department warns each vendor to store food items in rodent proof containers.

We walked around downtown Wednesday at lunch time showing people the pictures taken by the Health Department.

Experts and exterminators told 10 On Your Side the rodent problem inside the Roanoke City Market Building must have been “severe” in order for the health department to step in.
