The farmer’s market in Roanoke is the oldest market still in constant use in Virginia.
And this year, organizers are having to get creative because all of the vendors spaces are filled, but more farmers and artisans want to set up shop there.

The original deadline was June 2nd.  The new deadline is five days later, July 7th.

If you take a look around the Roanoke City Market Building and you’ll question why some city leaders call it the jewel of downtown. The building is flat out rundown with more and more vacant shops.
