Virginia Tech’s softball team eeks out a first round victory against Louisville in the NCAA softball tournament.

Angela Tincher pitched 10 innings, and Misty Hall had three of the Hokies seven hits…including the game winner—a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 10th.

Tincher allowed only one hit, and struck out 19 Cardinal batters in the victory.

The Hokies advance to take on the top seed in the regional, host Tennessee.

The Lady Vols defeated Big South entrant Winthrop 3-0.
