The Hornets closed out the game outscoring the Pirates 13-7, hitting 8 of 11 free throws.
Norfolk St. defeats Bethune-Cookman 78-77
Michael Deloach picked up a blocked shot, turned around and swished a 15-foot jumper with 0.6 seconds left, carrying Norfolk St. to a 78-77 overtime victory over Bethune-Cookman on Saturday. The win completed a 24-point comeback for the Spartans.
Hokies lose heartbreaker at home to Miami 74-71
The loss was the second in a row for the Hokies, who have been the surprise team of the ACC and were starting a stretch that sees them play four of the next six at home.
