Christiansburg and Floyd girls takes steps towards district supremacy

    The defending state champion Floyd County girls turned away District rival Radford in a hard fought 67-60 contest at Radford.  Floyd County moves to 17-1 overall….8-0 in the Three Rivers District play.
    Meanwhile..the River Ridge District was a virtual logjam in the standings, with the Hidden Valley, Salem, Christiansburg and Blacksburg girls all 4-2 coming into action tonight—but Hidden Valley downed Salem and Christiansburg edged Blacksburg by ten, 47-37, so the Titans and the Blue Demons move atop the River Ridge standings after Friday night’s action.
