Randy Bush to remain Hidden Valley girl’s basketball coach

The Roanoke County School System says Randy Bush will remain as coach of the Hidden Valley High School girl’s basketball team.

Bush took over after Brenda King became too sick from cancer to coach last year.  King passed away last month.

The Titans went on to the state semi-finals, before losing to Turner Ashby.

“Randy has proven himself as a head coach in taking the girls’ team to the final four and we look forward to having him solidify that position for the next several years,“ said Hidden Valley High School Athletic Director Chris Morris, in a news release.

Bush previously served as an assitant coach to the Hidden Valley boy’s basketball team in 2005 and 2006.  Bush also coached the Titans’ JV Football team in 2006.
