That’s what the William Ruffner boy’s middle school basketball team can proudly call themselves, after winning the Roanoke boy’s basketball City Championship.
Ruffner defeated the Lucy Addison Middle School team Wednesday night at Patrick Henry High School 51-43. The win completes a season with no losses for Ruffner. Likely the final season for the school, due to the Roanoke City School Board voting to close the school due to budget cuts (Barring some extraordinary happening).
