Directions to Franklin Co. playoff game at Liberty-Bealeton

Franklin County High School tells us they’ve received numerous calls from parents asking for directions to Liberty-Bealeton, where the Eagles’ playoff game has been moved to for Saturday.

Here is the route from Rocky Mount:

1.  Take Rt. 220 north to I-581 and I-81

2.  Get on I-81 north, and drive to I-64 east

3.  Get on I-64 east, drive to Charlottesville (About 31 miles), take the Rt. 29 north exit (118B) toward Charlottesville/Culpepper.  Drive 4.3 miles.

4.  Take ramp right for Rt. 29/North Emmet St. North toward Washington (You’ll pass a Taco Bell on the right in 2.5 miles).  Drive 57 miles.

5.  Turn right on SR-28/Catlett Rd.  Drive 2.3 miles.

6.  Turn left onto Rt. 17 north/Marsh Rd..  Drive 1/2 a mile.

7.  Turn right onto Independence Ave.  Drive 0.3 miles.

8.  Arrive at 6300 Independence Ave. in Bealeton, VA.
