Appomattox man leads SunTrust State Open in Richmond

Appomattox’s Faber Jamison has a five shot lead going into Sunday’s final round of the VSGA SunTrust State Open in Richmond.

Jamison is at (-17) through three rounds, after shooting a (-6) 66 on Saturday.  He’s a two-time champion of the event.

Well known local golf pro Chip Sullivan from Botetourt County is in fourth place at (-10).

Amateur Adam Webb from Ridgeway and Fielding Brewbaker from Salem are tied for fifth place at (-8).
